The Pillow Book, Rewriting, etc.

It so happens that I found the readings for tomorrow more enjoyable than the others scheduled so far. Maybe enjoyable is not the correct word, perhaps, relatable is more appropriate. The Pillow Book, with its modernish take on reality. A reality described entirely through the eyes of a narrator, so a reality that cannot be totally trusted is interesting to interpret. How much of what is described is truth? How close is it to the truth? We can never really know and that is what is so interesting, literature is only what we make it.
