Things Fall Apart Second Half

For this class we were to read the rest of Chinua's book and I was very surprised by the ending. I was shocked that Oknokwo would commit suicide after all that he has been through. I found it interesting to read this book in tow parts because they were so very different. In the first part we read it was more of a 'normal' book of a journey and Oknokwo's life story type reading, and the second part was more of a twist to this story and kind of the ending of the story. I am very interested to see what the rest of the class has to say about this ending. I was shocked myself and I wonder how the rest of the class felt about the ending to this book.
